29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(ii): Employee training did not include the physical and health hazards of the chemicals in the work area: (a) In the residences of the McDermott Crossing facility where employees were exposed to skin and eye irritation when they conducted cleaning operations with ethanol, contained in ZEP Air & Fabric Refresher. The employer did not train employees on the physical and health hazards of ethanol. (b) In the residences of the McDermott Crossing facility where employees were exposed to serious eye irritation when they conducted cleaning operations with isopropyl alcohol, contained in 70% isopropyl alcohol. The employer did not train employees on the physical and health hazards of isopropyl alcohol. (c) In the residences of the McDermott Crossing facility where employees were exposed to severe skin burns and serious eye damage when they conducted cleaning operations with sodium hypochlorite, contained in Clorox and pool tablets. The employer did not train employees on the physical and health hazards of sodium hypochlorite.

The employer did not train employees on the protective measures they could take to protect themselves from ethanol.
