29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: (a) Georgetown Reservoir - On or about February 23, 2018, employees were required to wear N95 respirators and half face elastomeric tight fitting respirators while conducting masonry activities such as but not limited to stucco finish removal, demolition work, grinding mortar and tuck-pointing work and the employer did not provide them with a medical evaluation prior to use. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
