Where occupational exposure remains after institution of these controls, personal protective equipment shall also be used:  a) On or about February 27, 2018, the trash containers under the sink counter in 2 procedure rooms were overfilled and did not maintain a plastic barrier between the individual emptying the trash containers and the items contaminated with blood disposed of into the trash container. Trash containers in the procedure rooms may contain used procedure gloves, gauze with blood spots and other items contaminated with blood that do not meet the definition of Regulated Waste specified in 29 CFR 1910.1030 Bloodborne Pathogens Standard.
