OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a struck-by and crushed-by hazards: a) On or about 3/6/2018, Employees were exposed to potential struck by hazards from faulty and damaged automotive lifts that employees were working around and under. 1. The Northeast corner lift had a lock for front pivot did not engage at lower levels on west post and a lock missing on the front arm. (Gilbarco Model # GFF-90) 2. The Challenger Lift (model 4015) used for alignments had cracked welds on . 3. North side drive on lift equipped with slide able jacks were leaking off pressure causing vehicles to lean during lowering. (Challenger Model 40000)
