29 CFR 1926.304(d): Portable, power-driven circular saw(s) were not equipped with a guard above and below the base plate or shoe: On or about March 7, 2018 and times prior thereto, at the worksite located at or near 2417 Stone Links Drive in North Little Rock, Arkansas, the guard on the Makita hand-held circular saw had been bypassed by wedging a block of wood in the guard. Employees who operated the Makita saw while cutting the planks of wood used for the house frame were exposed to amputation hazards.
