29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: Construction Site: On or about March 7, 2018, an employee was working on the trusses without utilizing any type of fall protection equipment. This condition exposed the employees to a fall hazard of more than 6-ft. to the ground below. Hernandez Construction Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1134999, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on May 11, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 11388 Bullseye St., El Paso, TX 79936.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: Construction Site: On or about March 7, 2018, the employer did not provide a training program to ensure employees recognized the hazards of falling and procedures to follow to minimize hazards. This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of more than 6-feet to the ground below. Hernandez Construction Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29CFR 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1134999, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on May 11, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 11388 Bullseye St., El Paso, TX 79936.
