Main, Miami, Oklahoma worksite: Employees were performing steel erection operations from a supported scaffold which exceeded the maximum width requirements when mounted on a Manitou telehandler exposing employees to the hazards of falls.

29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(v): Fork-lifts shall not be used to support scaffold platforms unless the entire platform is attached to the fork and the fork-lift is not moved horizontally while the platform is occupied.  This violation was observed on or about March 7, 2018 at the 1601 N. Main St., Miami, Oklahoma worksite:   A Grossman Construction, Inc., employee was observed working approximately 25 ft. above ground in an unsecured work platform on a Manitou telehandler exposing employees to the hazards of being thrown from the work platform.
