OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a) On or about March 13, 2018, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that employees operating a Datsun forklift were protected from crush or struck by hazards where the forklift was not equipped with a seatbelt. Abatement Note: Among other methods, feasible and acceptable means of abatement to correct the hazard include installation of an after market seat belt for the Datsun FG103 Propane forklift. Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item.
