29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c).  a) 248 Walnut Street, Mont Clare, PA, Worksite - On or about March 14, 2018, employees were working in a trench that was approximately 10 to 12 feet below grade that was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system.  ABATEMENT NOTE: 1926 Subpart P Appendix A&B  provide information and non-mandatory guidelines to assist employers and employees in complying with the appropriate requirements of this section.
