29 CFR 1910.134(h)(1)(i) Respirators issued for the exclusive use of an employee were not cleaned and disinfected as often as necessary to be maintained in a sanitary condition: a) On or about May 23, 2018, eWorks Electronic Services, Inc. did not ensure that employees wearing respiratory protection cleaned and disinfected their respirators as often as necessary to maintain them in a sanitary condition. Wipe samples collected from one half mask respirator stored in the Cathode Ray Tube Line indicated the presence of 47.34 µg of lead and 2.69 µg of cadmium. Wipe samples collected from a second half mask respirator stored in a grocery bag indicated the presence of 11.75 µg of lead and 0.53 µg of cadmium.

A half mask respirator was placed on top of an open bin directly beneath the Cathode Ray Tube Line work station. A wipe sample collected from the inside of the respirator indicated the presence of 47.34 µg of lead and 2.69 µg of cadmium.
