29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system:  a) 1050 Edward Street, Linden, NJ:  Employees were exposed to fall hazards of up to 11 feet 4 inches while working near the unprotected wall opening of the second floor warehouse area.  This hazard was observed on 3/1/18.

29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed:  1050 Edward Street, Linden, NJ:  a) The emergency exit door in the shipping and receiving department was partially obstructed by a pallet of material.    b)  The emergency exit routes along the Eastern wall of the warehouse were blocked by pallets and material.  These hazards were observed on 3/1/18.
