29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  On or about March 23, 2018 at 5406 Lawrenceville, Highway, Lilburn, Georgia, employees working on the top plate installing roofing trusses were exposed to a fall hazard more than six (6) feet to the lower level.  A complete fall protection system complete with harness, lanyard, and anchor was not provided.   North Tucker Framing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1234042, citation number 01,tem number 02 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/20/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 4404 Clubside Drive, Oakwood, Georgia.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards.  On or about March 23, 2018 at 5604 Lawrenceville Highway, Lilburn, Georgia, employees installing trusses were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately  12 feet to the lower level when working on the top plate and from ladders.  The employer did not provide any training on fall protection or the hazards associated with working from heights.  North Tucker Framing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1234042, citation number 01,tem number 03 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/20/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 4404 Clubside Drive, Oakwood, Georgia.
