29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): At a residential construction site located at 7402-7406 Overton Avenue, Raytown MO: Employees were exposed to fall hazards. Employee were performing work on a steep roof and were not protected from falling by the use of guardrails, safety nets, or personal fall arrest systems. Fall distance measured from the eve of the roof to the ground below was 24.0 feet.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: At a residential construction site located at 7402-7406 Overton Avenue, Raytown MO: Employees were exposed to fall hazards. The employer failed to protected employees from fall related hazards in that employee were not trained on recognizing fall hazards and avoidance of the unsafe conditions. This was demonstrated when employees were observed working at a height 24.0 feet with the use of fall protection equipment that was improperly donned and affixed.
