An electrical junction box was uncovered on the  south end of the final assembly table.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(ii): Flexible cords may be used only in continuous lengths without splice or tap. Hard-service cord and junior hard-service cord No. 14 and larger may be repaired if spliced so that the splice retains the insulation, outer sheath properties, and usage characteristics of the cord being spliced.  On or about April 2, 2018, employees were exposed to live electrical parts.  The employer had made a repair on a 220v electrical cord that was powering a welder in the final assembly area. The repair did not retain the insulation properties of the cord being spliced.
