On or about April 24, 2018, the employer permitted an employee to work in an attic of a residential building while positioned in an area where there was no decking, for which no determination was made to its structural integrity, without fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards.    On or about April 24, 2018, the employer had not provided fall protection training to an employee permitted to work in an attic of a residential building without fall protection, while positioned in an area where there was no decking, and for which no determination was made to its structural integrity.  This exposed the employee(s) to a fall greater than six (6) feet to ground level.
