29 CFR 1917.152(e)(2)(iv): Exposed metal parts of welding cable lugs were not insulated: a) 1702 Mechanic Shop - An employee used the Miller Dialarc 250 AC/DC welding unit, serial number HH-10250 to weld a nut onto the end of a bolt and the welding cables had exposed wire near the lugs, exposing the employee to a shock hazard, on or about 04/05/2018. No abatement certification or documentation required for this item.
