29 CFR 1910.28(b)(15): Walking-working surfaces not otherwise addressed.  Except as provided elsewhere in this section or by other subparts of 29 CFR part 1910, the employer must ensure each employee on a walking-working surface 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling.  a.  On or about April 30, 2018, and at times prior, employees in the coating department were exposed to an approximately seven foot fall hazard when inspecting a site glass in duct work located on top of coating machine number four during a cleaning procedure without adequate means of fall protection.  a.  On or about April 30, 2018, and at times prior, employees in the coating department were exposed to an approximately seven foot fall hazard when inspecting a site glass in duct work located on top of coating machine number five during a cleaning procedure without adequate means of fall protection.
