29 CFR 1910.106(e)(6)(ii): Grounding. Category 1 or 2 flammable liquids, or Category 3 flammable liquids with a flashpoint below 100 °F (37.8 °C), shall not be dispensed into containers unless the nozzle and container are electrically interconnected. Where the metallic floorplate on which the container stands while filling is electrically connected to the fill stem or where the fill stem is bonded to the container during filling operations by means of a bond wire, the provisions of this section shall be deemed to have been complied with. Employees engaged in spray finishing activities in and around the paint booth area were exposed to fire hazards in that the 55 gal metal drum containing Cat 1 and 2 flammable liquid waste was not grounded.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Types of guarding. One or more methods of machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. Examples of guarding methods are-barrier guards, two-hand tripping devices, electronic safety devices, etc. Employees engaged in material drilling activities at the following pieces of equipment in the wood shop were exposed to caught-in and struck-by hazards in that: a) Craftsman drill press model 113.21371 S/N 7174.00007, the bit and chuck were not guarded b) Craftsman drill press model 113.213213 SN 9635500003, the bit and chuck were not guarded
