29 CFR 1926.102(a)(2): Eye and face protective equipment being used did not used meet the requirements specified in Z 87.1-1968.                                                                                                             The employer is failing to protect employees from struck-by hazards associated with using pneumatic nail guns without wearing approved eye protection.  The most recent occurrence of this was observed on May 18, 2018 at the existing residential home located at 2003 S. River Rock Dr., Papillion, NE where the employer has employees using pneumatic nail guns to secure the shingles they were installing on the roof without wearing any ANSI approved eye protection.

The employer is failing to protect employees from fall hazards associated with performing residential construction activity while exposed to falls 6 feet or greater.  The most recent occurrence of this was observed on May 18, 2018 at the existing residential home located at 2003 S. River Rock Dr., Papillion, NE where the employer has a crew of 4 employees exposed to fall hazards while tearing off the old roof on an existing residential home.

The most recent occurrence of this was observed on May 18, 2018 at the existing residential home located at 2003 S. River Rock Dr., Papillion, NE where the employer has inadequately trained employees without fall protection equipment exposed to fall hazards while installing shingling on a new residential home construction.
