29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles.     a. On or about June 11, 2018, at the above addressed inspection site, employees operating battery powered hand tools were not wearing safety glasses where flying particles were present. Employees were thereby exposed to eye injuries.       Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A Personal Fall Arrest System shall be worn and a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift.      a. On or about June 11, 2018, at the above addressed inspection site, employees working in an aerial lift were not properly attached to the boom or basket by the use of a lanyard. Employees were thereby exposed to fall hazards from a height of approximately 19 feet.      Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
