29 CFR 1910.157(d)(4): Portable fire extinguishers for use on Class B fires were not distributed so that the travel distance from the Class B hazard area to any extinguisher was 50 feet or less: a). On or about 6/5/18, on site, for employees handling chemicals such as Hydrochloric acid. Employees remove the containers of liquid hydrochloric acid from the warehouse and load into trucks to various customer sites. The hydrochloric acid is stored at the site. The employer did not provide fire extinguishers. The hydrochloric acid is a Class B fire hazard.
