29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Structural Side, on or about 6/19/18: Point of operation in two areas were not adequately guarded on a Accushear metal cutting shear in that the guards were bent up out of position on the left side and a section of the guard was missing on the right side. b) Structural Side, on or about 6/19/18: Unused portion of blade on a Hyd Mech 20 horizontal bandsaw was not guarded on the right side.
