29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a program of frequent and regular inspections made by competent persons at the jobsite:    a)  Effective inspection of the structural steel work area was not provided; a 35 ft steel I-beam stored on the 8th floor was leaning to one side in danger of tipping onto employees due to being placed in an unstable position on top of other structural steel materials.     Location: 422 Fulton St, Brooklyn NY    On or about 7-3-2018    NOTE:  BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASEFILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION NOR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1):  Employee(s) engaged in steel erection activity who were on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6m) above a lower level were not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems or fall restraint systems:    a) Employees were exposed to 30 ft fall hazard at the 9th floor top deck where a large deck opening was left unprotected as the rest of the deck elsewhere was being completed;     Location: 422 Fulton St, Brooklyn NY    On or about 7-3-2018    NOTE:  BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASEFILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION NOR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.
