29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:    a) Rescar Companies, Inc. - Gordon, GA - On or about 07/19/18, and times prior to, employees working with railcars on  "A" and "B" racks that may contain corrosive chemicals such as, but not limited to, sulfuric acid.  The eye wash station provided had water that was rusty brown and not adequate to flush eyes in the event of an emergency.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1910.1053(d)(1): The employer did not assess the exposure of each employee who was or may reasonably be expected to be exposed to respirable crystalline silica at or above the action level in accordance with either the performance option in paragraph (d)(2) or the scheduled monitoring option in paragraph (d)(3) of this section:    Rescar Corporation, Inc.  Gordon, GA - Employees are required to add black beauty (containing crystalline silica) to the blasting pot and assist blasters.  The employees did not perform monitoring for silica dust to determine exposure levels, on or about 07/19/18.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
