ABATEMENT NOTE:  Protection from burns may be provided using personal protective equipment such as gloves, sleeves, tools, procedures, techniques and/or a combination of these, based on the employer's hazard assessment.

29 CFR 1910.151(b): There was neither an infirmary, clinic, or hospital used for the treatment of all injured employees in near proximity to the workplace nor a person or persons adequately trained to render first aid, and adequate first aid supplies were not readily available:    (a) Kitchen Area: On July 30, 2018 and times prior, employees operating a fryer were not provided adequate supplies to render first aid to themselves for the types of injuries likely to occur, including thermal burns.
