29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(i): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail:    location: stairwell A  on or about: 8/2/18    a) Employees used a closed stairway for access between the first and second floor. The stairway, with 18 risers, did not have a handrail.     location: stairwell B  on or about: 8/2/18    b) Employees used a closed stairway for access between the first and second floor. The stairway, with 23 risers, did not have a handrail.        NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
