29 CFR 1918.66(d)(3): Defects found during inspections of cranes or derricks that may create safety hazards were not corrected before further equipment use.  (a) The Manitowoc 1400 Series Crane was used to move materials after an inspection was conducted that discovered damaged parts which include but not limited to; sheaves, headache pin, and lattice section. This exposed employees to crushing and struck-by hazards.
