29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:   a) On or about 08/23/18, at a house located at 496 Eggert Road, Buffalo, NY:  Employees engaged in roofing on a steep roof were  exposed to a falls of approx.  11 to 18 ft.  because no fall protection system was utilized.  Pitch of the roof was approx.  8 in 12.     NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:    a) On or about 08/23/18, at a house located at 496 Eggert Road, Buffalo, NY: The siderails of the extension ladder located at the right-front side on the house, and used to access the roof from the ground, only extended approx.  20 inches above the roof.     NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
