29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift:    (a) On or about August 25, 2018, the employer did not ensure that employees operating an aerial lift used a body belt or a body harness with a lanyard attached to the boom or basket. Employees were exposed to falls of up to 18 feet while conducting soffit installation activities on a JLG 460SJ aerial lift. The employees did not attach a lanyard to the boom or basket of the aerial lift.            Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").

Employees were exposed to falls of up to 18 feet while conducting soffit installation activities on a JLG 460SJ aerial lift. The employees were not authorized to use the aerial lift.
