29 CFR 1926.405(a)(2)(ii)(B): Runs of open conductors used as temporary wiring branch circuits were located where the conductors would be subject to physical damage, or the conductors were fastened at intervals exceeding 10 feet. No branch-circuit conductors shall be laid on the floor. Each branch circuit that supplies receptacles or fixed equipment shall contain a separate equipment grounding conductor if the branch circuit is run as open conductors. On and about August 15, 2018 at 2228 Gravier Street, New Orleans, LA 70119, the employer allowed a live temporary wiring branch circuit to be exposed to damage. The circuit was run across a room on the floor.
