Powered industrial truck operators shall receive initial training in the following topics, except in topics which the employer can demonstrate are not applicable to safe operation of the truck in the employer's workplace. a) On or about 9/4/2018 an employer did not have a power industrial truck training program to ensure operators received initial training in order to verify safe operations such as but not limited to; allowing employees to ride in the back of the open box truck in the yard.
