29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:      On or about September 4, 2018, during the removal of the asbestos containing roofing material and transite panels at a job site located at 1910 Searl St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 the employer did not ensure employees performing asbestos abatement were protected from a fall of a height of approximately 14.6 feet off a flat roof by utilizing fall protection systems/devices.    Total Environmental Services, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1167501, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/08/2017, with respect to a workplace located at  855 and 859 West Nationwide Boulevard Columbus, OH 43215.
