The employer did not certify to OSHA Within 10 calendar days after the abatement date, that each cited violation has been abated:  (a) The employer failed to certify that Citation 1, Item 1, issued on 01/17/2019 with an abatement date of 03/07/2019 had been abated.  (b) The employer failed to certify that Citation 1, Item 2, issued on 01/17/2019 with an abatement date of 03/07/2019  had been abated.    (c) The employer failed to certify that Citation 1, Item 3, issued on 01/17/2019 with an abatement date of 03/07/2019 had been abated.

29 CFR 1910.124(j)(3): Periodic inspections of all dipping and coating equipment, including covers, drains, overflow piping, and electrical and fire-extinguishing systems were not conducted, and deficiencies were not promptly corrected:  The employer is failing to protect employees from fire hazards. This violation was most recently documented at a worksite located at or near 2601 S. 13th St., Norfolk, Nebraska 68701 on October 3, 2018. The employer did not ensure that the cover on the dip tank was able to self-close. The cover was bolted to the wall.    Abatement certification is required for this violation.  The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citations.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, would provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical:  The employer is failing to protect employees from chemical hazards. This violation was most recently documented at a worksite located at or near 2601 S. 13th St., Norfolk, Nebraska 68701 on October 3, 2018. The employer did not ensure that plastic bottle that originally contained and labeled for antifreeze was labeled, tagged, or marked with the appropriate hazard warnings of the used grease that was being stored in it.     Abatement certification is required for this violation.  Abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citation.
