29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about October 29, 2018, at the subject worksite an employee walking/working on the roof of a commercial property was exposed a fall hazard of over 25 feet and was not required to use any means of fall protection. Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: On or about October 29, 2018, at the subject worksite an employee installing roof top HVAC units was not trained to recognize fall hazards and procedures to follow to minimize fall hazards. The employee was exposed to fall hazards of over 25 feet. Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
