29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a) On or about 10/25/2018, In the Press Room:  Interlocks were bypassed on the printing units.  Allowing one full sized door and two smaller guards per unit to be opened while the units were in use.    b) On or about 10/25/2018, In the Press Room:  A guard was removed from the folder out feed conveyor.   c) On or about 10/25/2018, In the Plate Room:   Plater #2 was in use with its rear cover removed.   d) On or about 10/25/2018, In the Mail Room:   The stacker was in use with a guard removed.  e) On or about 10/25/2018, In the Mail Room:  The strapping machine was in use with a cover removed.  Abatement certification is required for these items.
