The Employer did not submit abatement certification for Inspection #1356657, Citation #1, Item #2, 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1), issued 12/26/2018, which was due January 23, 2019.  29 CFR 1910.19(c)(1) requires certification that the abatement of the above violation is complete.

The Employer did not submit certification and documentation of abatement for Inspection #1356657, Citation #1, Item #1, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11), issued 12/26/18, which was due January 23, 2019.  29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1) requires certification and documentation that the abatement of the above violation is complete.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  Employees were exposed to fall hazards.  Employees engaged in commercial roofing work on a steep pitched roof were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 25 feet from the roof's eave to the ground below in that, employees were not using fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  Employees engaged in roofing activities were not provided with fall protection training to understand hazards associated with falls and the use of fall protection to minimize those hazards.
