29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(ii): Prior to permitting an employee to operate a powered industrial truck (except for training purposes), the employer shall ensure that each operator has successfully completed the training required by this paragraph (l), except as permitted by paragraph (l)(5).    a) The employer did not ensure that the employees were trained prior to allowing them  to get on/use a Powered Industrial Vehicle (Big Joe ) powered pallet jack.

29 CFR 1910.176(a):     Use of mechanical equipment. Where mechanical handling equipment is used, sufficient safe clearances shall be allowed for aisles, at loading docks, through doorways and wherever turns or passage must be made. Aisles and passageways shall be kept clear and in good repair, with no obstruction across or in aisles that could create a hazard. Permanent aisles and passageways shall be appropriately marked.    (a)  On November 1, 2018, in the pack and inspection area where the forklift was utilized, the area was not properly marked with permanent aisles and passageways.  The violation has been abated.
