OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees:    a) On or about November 28, and at times prior, employees in the shop were exposed to struck-by hazards where the limit switch on the Wazee five ton crane was inoperable due to damage. The crane remained in service with the broken limit switch.      Among other methods, feasible and acceptable means to correct these hazards would be to repair or replace broken or inoperative components prior to returning equipment to service.
