Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6): 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6): The employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the information specified under paragraphs (f)(6)(i) through (ii) of this section:   a) Housekeeping Cart: A Housekeeper was using a spray bottle containing a green chemical and the employer did not ensure that the container contained a label that identified the chemicals in the container and the hazards associated with the chemical, on or about November 28, 2018.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:   a) Laundry Room and Housekeeping Area: Housekeepers use various chemicals while cleaning guest rooms and doing laundry and the employer did not provide employees with information about the hazards of the chemicals they were using, ways to protect themselves from the chemicals, how to properly label secondary containers, or where the safety data sheets were located, on or about November 28, 2018.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
