29 CFR 1910.29(b)(2): The employer did not ensure that midrails, screens, mesh, intermediate vertical members, solid panels, or equivalent intermediate members were installed between the walking-working surface and the top edge of the guardrail system as follows when there was not a wall or parapet that was at least 21 inches (53 cm) high: The employer did not ensure that a midrail, screen, mesh, intermediate vertical members, solid panels or equivalent intermediate members were installed on an approximately 8 foot high walking-working surface to protect employees from falling to a lower level. U.S. Minerals LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.23(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 918329, citation number 02, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 09-08-2014, with respect to a workplace located at 11000 Baldwin Road, in Baldwin Illinois.
