29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) were being placed in services after the examination showed condition(s) adversely affecting the safety of the vehicle:  On November 27, 2018, employees utilized forklifts and a front-end loader during recycling operations. The Nissan 50 and 60 forklifts, and the Kumatsu-620 (front-end loader) did not have  functional/operational back-up alarms. After inspection the employer did not remove the vehicles from operation to prevent struck-by hazards.
