The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses protective footwear when working in areas where there is a danger of foot injuries due to falling or rolling objects: a) On or about 12/4/18 in the Production area; employees who service and maintain the injection mold machines, handle the molds ( weighing several hundred pounds )/ tooling, remove and install the molds/ tooling were exposed to struck by/crushing foot injuries when the employer did require the use of protective footwear. b) On or about 12/4/18 in the Mold Shop; employees who repair and retool the molds ( weighing several hundred pounds) were exposed to struck by/crushing foot injuries when the employer did not required the use of protective footwear.
