(a) Inside Salvage Shop: On or about November 28, 2018, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fire hazards in that the two horizontal storage tanks for gasoline (flashpoint -43 °C (-45 °F) did not have a "No Smoking" sign conspicuously posted as required.

29 CFR 1910.253(b)(4)(iii): Oxygen cylinders in storage were not separated from fuel-gas cylinders or combustible materials (especially oil or grease), a minimum distance of 20 feet: a) Salvage Yard: On or before November 28, 2018, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fire hazards, in that the employer did not ensure that an Acetylene storage cylinder used for welding was at least 20 feet from Oxygen storage and welding cart as required. The placement of the Acetylene and Oxygen was side by side and the welding cart with both Acetylene and Oxygen on it was approximately 39 inches (3 feet 3 inches) apart from the stored Acetylene and Oxygen.
