29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On or about December 7, 2018: Four employees were observed installing floor joists while walking on the top plate and were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection; exposing employees a 9-feet fall hazard. b) On or about December 7, 2018: Two employees were observed cutting plywood at the edge of the building on the deck and were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection; exposing employees to a 11-feet fall hazard.
