29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladders were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed:      A) 15-19 New St Metuchen, NJ 08840    Employees are allowed to use wooden a-frame ladders as a straight ladders.  An 8 ft. wooden step ladder, being used to access the interior side of the roof wall, was being used as a straight ladder which was not the purpose for which the ladder was designed exposing employees to fall hazards.    Occurred on or about 01/03/19
