29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): The employer did not ensure each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.     (a)Steve Drenth Construction, Inc. at 200 North Charrapa Place, Sioux Falls, SD 57103:  On or about and at times prior to January 22, 2019, the exposing employer did not ensure an employee was protected from falling by the use of a fall protection system in that, an employee was engaged in snow removal from a steel roof on a commercial building without the use of a fall protection system. This condition exposed the employee to a fall hazard of 12 feet.
