29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.   a) 1421 West Ocean City NJ:  On or about January 7, 2019, Fourth Season Contractor, LLC. an employee was conducting roofing activities on a multi-story new construction home.  A single employee was observed installing roofing shingles on the second floor of the residential property.  There were no guardrails in place and the employee was not using any form of fall protection.  The employee was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 20 feet to the ground below.     NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
