On 1/28/19, at the Locust Grove facility, the employer did not create a written Hazard Communication program at the facility where employees were using various chemicals, including oils, lubricants, batteries and cleaners.

On 1/28/19, at the Locust Grove facility, the employer did not maintain safety data sheets for the chemicals employees were working with, including oils, lubricants, batteries and cleaners.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area.  On 1/28/19, at the Locust Grove facility, the employer did not provide training on the information for chemicals employees were working with, including oils, lubricants, batteries and cleaners.
