29 CFR 1926.102(a)(2): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses eye protection that provides side protection when there is a hazard from flying objects. Detachable side protectors (e.g. clip-on or slide-on side shields) meeting the pertinent requirements of this section are acceptable.    West side of this commercial building:  On or about February 6, 2019 and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards from flying objects, while using a DEWALT Pneumatic Collated Framing Nailer without safety glasses.

29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift:    Note:  As of January 1, 1998, subpart M of this part (1926.502(d)) provides that body belts are not acceptable as part of a personal fall arrest system.  The use of a body belt in a tethering system or in a restraint system is acceptable and is regulated:    West side of this residential building:  On or about February 6, 2019, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to a fall hazard while installing fur-down to the exterior building, from a 4x4 Genie Z60/34 Articulating Boom Lift without fall protection equipment.
