29 CFR 1926.403(i)(2)(i): Live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more were not guarded against accidental contact by cabinets or other forms of enclosure: a) Employees were exposed to 110 volt electric shock hazard during construction activities due to (2) live wires sticking out of the sheetrock walls (wire tips without tape or wire caps). Located in a hallway and in a room. b) The circuit breaker panel (ground floor) had openings where breaker switches were missing; blanks were not provided to cover the openings. Employees were exposed to electric shock hazard. Location: 83 Eagle Street, Brooklyn NY On or about 1/23/2019 NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASEFILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION NOR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.
